Extended SKT Program For Skill Dvelopment

UCEP is implementing the “Extended SKT Program for skills Development” with the support of Directorate of Primary Education under reaching out of School Children (ROSC) project. Location of the project is at Fatullah, Narayanganj. Duration of the project is 3.5 years . As per agreement a total of 252 students will be enrolled during project period. UCEP curriculum and method will be followed to make this program successful. Extended SKT program for skills development started schooling activities from January 2007 with 84 students in two trades. Trades are : Industrial Sewing and Garments and Electrical Technology.

Target group of the project are the working children of SKT schools who have basic education up to Grade V and age between 13-16 years. UCEP is playing the following roles for successful implementation of the project.

Progress so far of the Extended SKT program for skills Development is satisfactory.
