The great Independence and National Day is being celebrated with heroism, pride and national spirit at UCEP Robertsongonj Technical School, like the rest of the country. On this day in 1971, the Bengali nation, after a long journey of movement and struggle, joined the struggle for freedom against the Pakistani occupying forces. This day is a symbol of our sacrifice, courage and victory.
UCEP Robertsongonj Technical School organized national flag hoisting, discussion meetings, cultural programs, various competitions with the participation of children and adolescents, and special prayers.
Greeting the countrymen on this national day, today’s honored chief guest Hasan Mahbub Akhtar Loton, Director, Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Member of the Advisory Board of the UCEP Rangpur Region, in his speech called on everyone to work unitedly for the development of the country by keeping the spirit of the Liberation War in their hearts. He promised to be by the side of the students to ensure the rights of the students and for the development of the school. He solved a long-standing problem for the intellectual development of the students. He gifted a high-quality sound system to increase the resources of the school. The UCEP family will remember this gift for a lifetime. Apart from him, Md. Manjudar Rahman Neta (General Secretary, Haragach Social Development Organization), Md. Rafiqul Islam (Regional Manager, UCEP Rangpur Region), Md. Lavlu Mia (Head of Technical School, UCEP Robertsongonj Technical School), Md. Rezaul Karim Sardar, Mst. Aysha Khatun etc. were present at the event. Finally, under the chairmanship of Md. Lavlu Mia, the event paid tribute to the nation’s heroic sons on the occasion of Independence Day and hoped for peace, prosperity and progress for all.
