“International Women’s Day-2025” was celebrated with due dignity at UCEP Robertsongonj Technical School.On the occasion of International Women’s Day, various events, human chain and discussions were organized.
Manjushree Saha (Deputy Director RDRS Bangladesh and President Swarnari Association, Rangpur) were present as chief guests in the program conducted by Instructor Shahjahan Siraj. The events are Essay, Drawing Competition and Hamad and Nate Rasool (SM) Competition and awards are given to them.
A discussion meeting was held at 11:00 am. Presided over by Md. Lavlu Mia (Head of Technical school).
Dr. Mostafa Alam Boni ( Medicine Specialist, Rangpur Medical College and Hospital) and Nargis Rahman (Eminent Dramatist, Bangladesh Betar Rangpur), were present as special guests, and Abdul Jalil, Project Coordinator, Equips Project-SEED. Regional Manager Md. Rafiquel Islam (UCEP Rangpur Region) delivered the welcome speech. The honorable guests discussed the historical context of Women’s Day, its importance, gender discrimination, violence against women, prevention of child marriage and various laws and their implementation. They also assured to support the troubled students in various ways and always stand by the institution. The President announced the end of the program by congratulating all the honored guests and the present students.
