Mr. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder is a prominent politician, industrialist, businessman, and former Member of Parliament. He was the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Limited and former Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BRCS). Mr. Mazumder is associated with many social welfare activities. He contributed to the education sector by establishing ‘Hafiz Majumder Education Trust’. The trust provides financial assistance to build new schools and colleges as well as improve the quality of education in Sylhet.
