Gazipur, July 17, 2025 – UCEP-Tongi Pourashova Kalabagan Technical School organized an engaging debate competition on the theme “My Green School”, where students showcased their intellect, confidence, and awareness about building a sustainable future.
The event brought together young debaters who passionately argued for greener, cleaner, and more eco-friendly schools. Their thought-provoking speeches highlighted issues like environmental conservation, renewable energy, waste management, and the role of students in creating a pollution-free campus.
The programme was graced by Mr. A.G.M. Shamsul Kamal, Former Chairperson of UCEP Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. He praised the students for their enthusiasm and stressed the importance of nurturing eco-conscious citizens for a better tomorrow.
Judges and teachers applauded the participants for their performance, while winners received medals and trophies as recognition of their talent. The audience was left inspired, reflecting the school’s commitment to promoting education beyond textbooks and instilling values of responsibility and sustainability.
This debate not only celebrated the power of youth voices but also strengthened UCEP’s vision of combining education with awareness, knowledge with action, and schools with sustainability.
