Observing the Day at KiK UCEP Ghasitola Technical School primarily aimed to make students aware about World Environment Day history and its link to our environment. Another key goal was to educate them how they play their roles in elimination of environment pollution and the power of collective action. The events also intended to develop students’ critical thinking about current global warming issues. Specifically, the essay competition fostered creative expression and reflection on the World Environment Day themes. Ultimately, the day promoted discussions among the students and the faculty on the importance of fair environment practices in society Following the earlier activities, a discussion session took place on the school campus, expertly led by Mosammat Rafeza Khatun, Head of Technical School at KiK UCEP Ghasitola Technical School. During the session, she stated, “No plastic is small. Every effort counts. Today, we salute the strength of trees everywhere. Happy Environment Day!” The program was coordinated by Instructor Md. Ajmol Hossain, Assistant Instructor, Tahmina Begum, Focal Person Shakila Akhter, and Instructors of Technical Skills Baby Akter, Md. Salman Khan, Mohiuddin Samrat, and Al-Amin, along with all other instructors, attended the meeting. |
