World Youth Skills Day is celebrated every year on 15th July, as declared by the United Nations. The day focuses on the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship. The aim is to highlight the need for skill development to empower youth and ensure a better future.

Md. Alamgir Hossain, The Head of the Technical School encouraged the youth to embrace learning opportunities and cultivate skills that are essential in the modern workforce, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence, digital literacy, and technical innovation.
Md. Bashiruzzaman, a respected teacher at USCBTS, addressed the audience and highlighted the growing importance of technical and vocational education and training (TVET). He stressed that raising awareness in this sector is crucial for enhancing employability and fostering self-reliance among the youth.

He drew a connection between Digital Bangladesh and the rise of technical skills, explaining how educated, technically skilled youth are vital to shaping a sustainable, innovative, and digitally empowered nation.
