30 October 2023, Dhaka: UCEP Bangladesh participated in the 23rd ICAB National Award for Best Presented Annual Reports, Integrated Reporting and Corporate Governance Disclosures 2022 competition organized by the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Bangladesh (ICAB) and awarded the “CERTIFICATE OF MERIT” under the Category Best Presented Annual Reports NGOs/NPOs as a mark of excellence in corporate reporting.
Hon’ble Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the “23rd ICAB National Award for Best Presented Annual Reports 2022” to the winners at an event at the Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. Dr, Samsul Alam, state minister for the planning ministry was also present as the special guest. On behalf of UCEP Bangladesh, Engr. Mohd. Abdul Mannan, Director, Programme and Innovations, Nazmun Nahar, Director, Financ & Compliance and Subinoy Dutta, Deputy Director, Resource Mobilization and Communication received the CERTIFICATE OF MERIT.
The Institute of Chartered Accounts of Bangladesh (ICAB) awarded 59 listed and non-listed entities in 17 different sectors for best presented annual reports for 2022 to promote transparency and accountability through financial and non-financial disclosures.
A 13-member jury board chaired by Dr. Atiur Rahman, former governor at Bangladesh Bank reviewed the recommended list of the winners for their best presented annual reports, integrated reporting and corporate governance disclosures for the year 2022.
